1. This tournament will follow a Double Elimination process for divisions with 4 or more competitors. If/when you lose a match you will be inserted into the Consolation Bracket to compete for 3rd place. The competitors that continue in the Winners Bracket who make it to the Championship Round will be competing for 1st and 2nd place. Two and three person divisions will follow a standard elimination format. If there are no other competitors registered in your division you may be placed in another division as long as you and/or your coach has agreement. Team Points will not be awarded for divisions with 1 competitor.
2. Each Competitor will be allowed to register in ONE DIVISION ONLY.
3. All competitors must weigh-in with the GI ON 1 hour prior to their scheduled competition.
4. Each competitor must submit an on-line registration form, sign the electronic waiver, and pay the entry fee.
5. No advantages will be given. If the match is tied at the end of regulation, there will be a 1 minute sudden death overtime for Kids, Juniors, White and Blue Belts, and 2 minute sudden death overtime for Purple, Brown and Black Belts. The first competitor to score points will be the winner. If the score is still tied at the end of Sudden Death the Referee will decide the winner based on who showed the most aggressiveness.
6. All competitors must wear a Gi with a standard collar size and thickness.
7. All competitors must wear a CLEAN and a SOLID colored Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu GI (Kimono), either ALL WHITE or ALL BLUE, or ALL BLACK in color. NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED! No mixing of colors. Example; white pants and blue top or blue pants and white top, etc… will NOT be allowed. Competitors will compete with regulation GIs only. A regulation GI is four fingers cuff clearance and sleeves are to be no shorter than 4” from wrist between wrist and sleeve of GI. All male competitors are not allowed to wear any clothing underneath the GI including T-Shirts, Rash Guard, Sweatpants, etc…
8. We will try our best to pair up Kids according to weight and age no more than 2 years apart. For example ages groups may be (6 & 7) (8 & 9) (10 & 11) (12 & 13) (14 & 15). Additionally, belt rank will also be a considered, but belts may be mixed, as well, girl competitors may be paired with boys.

Competitors: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place will receive medals and score team points Team: The top 3 Adult Teams and top 3 Kid's Teams will be presented a team award. Note: Teams are based upon the information provided on the registration forms. It is your responsibility to make sure you correctly put your Team/School name on your registration form.

Kids from 6 to 15 years old, NO ezequiel choke, and any choke that involves the spine. • NO Bicep- Locks for Purple Belts and under. • NO Heel Hooks or Twisting Bent Knee Locks of any kind. • NO Striking of any kind. • NO Slamming. • NO Biting, Hair pulling or Eye-Gouging. • NO Small Joint Manipulation (Fingers, Toes, etc…). • NO Knee Bars for Purple Belt and under. • NO Pressure points. • NO Neck Cranks. • NO Hands, Knee or Elbows in the face. • NO Stalling / Running from the fight. • NO Swearing or other obscene gestures will be tolerated Penalties: Stalling: Holding or running away from the fight, or holding both sleeves with a closed guard. (more than 30 seconds) 1st incident - warning 2nd incident - 1 point to your opponent 3rd incident - disqualification Taking down your opponent and running away from the fight on the ground 1st incident - 2 points to your opponent 2nd incident - disqualification The following will result in immediate disqualification: • Picking up your opponent while on the ground and slamming them • Applying illegal techniques • Unsportsmanlike conduct against the other competitor, referee, coach, or public • Arguing with the referee (all disputes must be taken to the head table) • Fleeing the mat to avoid submission
